GoogleWe ordered the sambusas for appetizer and the mixed plates for two according to the recommendations from the staff, and we were very happy with both of the dishes. The dishes were perfectly seasoned and put together. We finished both without anything left. The owner was extremely friendly. We chose to sit outside and we really liked the quiet and airy surrounding. It was a perfect getaway from the busy cityscape.

My first time trying Ethiopian food — tibs with injera. The tender, spiced meat together with the sour, spongy flatbread was an interesting and completely new taste experience for me. I will definitely be back, and I'm especially intrigued by the breakfast menu.

I was so happy to find Ethiopian food while traveling. There’s something special about discovering food from home when you’ve been away for a while, especially when you’re craving something that feels like a home-cooked meal. Sara really hit the spot. The tibs and kosta were delicious, comforting, and full of flavor. The owner, Abraham, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience feel even more special. It truly felt like a little piece of home in the middle of my travels. Next time I’m in town, I’ll absolutely stop by again.

Finally, authentic Ethiopian food in town! 🇪🇹✨ I was so happyyyy to find out this place opened, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The owner is actually the chef, and he is one of the warmest, friendliest hosts we've ever met. The restaurant is spotless, the atmosphere is lovely, and the flavors are incredibly authentic. My whole family enjoyed the meal so much. If you want a wonderful dining experience with amazing food, you have to try this place!

Nice food, nice restaurant. I had Ethiopian food before and always enjoyed it. So glad to find an Ethiopian restaurant in Saigon. The family combo was good. I particularly enjoyed the injera. Mình từng ăn đồ Ethiopia trước đây và rất thích. Rất vui khi biết ở SG có nhà hàng Ethiopia. Nhóm mình gọi family combo ăn khá ngon và hợp khẩu vị. Mình thích nhất là bánh injera ăn kèm.

They have many options from vegetarian and non-vegetarian the food was completely tasty every item has a different flavor I really enjoyed it if I live close enough I would be a daily customer good atmosphere very very clean the aroma and coffee was wonderful

If food is love then you’ll fall head over heels with ‘Sara’. This little part of Ethiopia is a real treat, the first thing you notice when you step through the doors is the various aromas emanating from the kitchen. There is an extensive array of authentic dishes available, catering for vegan and vegetarian as well as meat lovers. From singular plates to family sized dishes, Sara offers a culinary journey that is steeped in culture, blending the flavors of east Africa with the stunning surroundings of Sai Gon. My friend and I ordered a number plates, it was my first time eating Ethiopian food but his recommendations were nothing short of perfection. The vibe is so cool, super easy and chilled, there’s plenty of space around the tables but you’ll find yourself engaging with other diners, making conversation, as your meal is prepared, it’s just one of those places that allows you to relax, remove any boundaries and borders and just enjoy the experience. The restaurant is modern, clean and spacious and the owner is a really nice gentleman, friendly, engaging and keen to explain and elaborate on the dishes on offer. One recommendation: Try the coffee, it’s small but powerful, rich in flavor and absolutely sensational. Thanks so much for the company, education and the excellent food. See you again very soon.

First time trying Ethiopian cuisine in Vietnam and to our surprise it’s super delicious! Entirely manned by a one chef show but the food tastes super fresh and yummy. Will come back again. Pls do come support the owner chef if you wanna check out some authentic Ethiopean cuisine.
