Tiệm ăn ông béo

Tiệm cơm tấm ngon, vị gần như hồi xưa. Có đàn bồ câu mập ú nụ ăn cơm haha.

We were looking for a breakfast spot and this didn't look like a promising place. We normally avoid places that sell multiple dishes because chances are they are not that good. Although it's in Vietnam and there's a low chance of it being terrible (actually never had bad or food I detested), might just not be good enough. I was so surprised with the bo kho banhmi because I was expecting to be disappointed. But I liked how light the stew/broth was and how it was just perfect for the bread. The porkchop rice was just okay hehe. It wasn't the cleanest spot, although the pigeons lurking in front of the store were a sight to behold. Not sure if they were pets of the owners hence the cleanliness issue or if the place was just dingy that they gravitated towards it. Usually the stall owners are very attentive, here they didn't seem to be too accommodating but then again it seems like a place more locals than foreigners go to.
