[Update Sept 15] I've been here several times since I moved here. I stopped going for a couple months because I thought the prices were inconsistent. I have learned the more items you take, they may consider it "one order" vs like a buffet where you just want to try a little bit of a lot of items. Sticking to one item main dish, it should be 25-30K/$1-1.45 an order. --- This was the 2nd cơm tấm place I tried here. Compared to the 1st one, this is a smaller one, but they have a grill in front with chicken and ribs continually being grilled. I tried to order one, but the girl said they weren't ready (this was around 11:10). I had a colder piece of chicken and fish cake & quail eggs in soy sauce. The fish cake was warm, so it tasted pretty good. The chicken was standard, I wish it had been hot. I paid 50K ($2.05) - seems to be a standard price for a meat item and side item. Free tea water. [Update Feb 21] This is not closed. I ate here today. The same workers (I believe) and same choices of food. I tried the same fishcake & quail egg dish from the previous time and meatballs. Both were warm. Both tasted good, but the meatballs did not taste like traditional meatballs you'd get in America, nor did they taste like the meatballs in the V-dish "bún chả," more like the meatballs in a bánh mì xíu mại; 40K ($1.65) for the meal. One lady took my plate, basically the moment I was finishing up, and she might have (I didn't quite see) put the tea water cup I used immediately back on to the rack... to be used again. I took it off the rack... I kind of don't want to use any of those cups anymore (maybe use the ones in the back). [Update Mar 26] I've come here a few times, but the prices just keep changing. I last got the omelet, meatballs, and stuffed bittermelon... that was 55K ($2.20). The omelet (half) + meatballs (4 or 5?) was 30K, and the bittermelon was 25K. The prices seem a little high since Tết, but other places are also higher. There's a kebab cart at close to the Vinhomes entrance that costs 20-25K depending on the wrap or the doner bread. [Update June 14] Had this a couple times recently, after a couple months/few weeks off from all cơm tấm places on this street. Tried a piece of chicken (with rice) only, and each time it's been 30K ($1.20). It's been pretty good chicken.
