🛑 Stop! Dont go to this restaurant if you’re craving for crepes. It’s not even a French one despite its name, the owner is Vietnamese. The ingredients used for the crepes are not even fresh and main ones are barely noticeable. They just warm or fry the ingredients back. Tasteless, even a failed crepe or galette at home is better. Staff are kind but the 3 of them during lunch time have to multitask between kitchen cooking, service and dishwashing. This place is more suitable as a sport bar than a restaurant. Apart from that, don’t go. If you’re craving for crepes/galettes, go to “Au Repaire” located in an alley on Tran Nao Street, the French owner Xan has the best crepes and galettes with fresh ingredients.

I found this place quite unusual. It’s spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating, yet not very busy. At first, we hesitated to go in, but we decided to give it a try—and the food amazed us. It was absolutely delicious! However, the way they arrange the tables and their choice of music (a mix of Cambodian, Thai, and US/UK songs) felt a bit odd. When we were the only guests, the atmosphere was actually a little eerie—haha. I believe that with some redecoration and a stronger focus on service, this place could become a great spot!

The service is quite innocent as that they are not well trained to serve in a restaurant but they don’t mean to offend. Food is 4/5 which i ordered their signature crepe and a galette which is very impressive, although the setting of the place is quite ruined down with unorganized utensils and seats (utensil set as an accident they bring from the local noodles stall in front into the resto) which we found very strange. Music was strange too, during the time we had there, they kept putting on Cambodian songs and then USUK remix and even Indian songs continuously. We tried to take it positive as we’re in a somewhere foreign place in an abandoned island but yeah it was exactly just like that. Hopefully they would cater more to the feeling and environment of their own business when we come back the second time as we will! Plus they open late til midnight.
